LHS Community, The holidays are fast approaching and LHS PTSA is organizing our two BIG winter hospitality events – Staff Cookie Boxes and Student Cocoa and Cookies. We need volunteers to help and donate for both. Here’s the scoop. United Against Bullying Poster Contest 2017 ~ I HEART Kindness

Safe Fleet announces their fourth annual United Against Bullying Coloring Contest. This year they’ve added a new contest for older students, the United Against Bullying Poster Contest. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. The theme for this year’s contests is “I HEART Kindness.” Why? Because kindness stops bullying. The contests are designed to start and spread conversations on kindness and bullying, to empower students, to keep them safe, and to help end bullying. Five Livermore Seniors Named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists

September 18, 2017 – Livermore, CA – Among approximately 16,000 nationwide Semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarships were five students representing the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. Semifinalists were announced last week for the 63rd annual academic competition put on by the Evanston, IL-based National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC.)
